The short version

We don’t want your data. Opening the app, writing scripts, executing them, changing your theme: none of it is collected, logged by us, or sent anywhere.

There is one narrow exception, covered below, and it only applies if Solara’s security protections are triggered.

What we collect during normal use

Nothing.

Your scripts stay on your machine. We have no accounts, no telemetry, and nothing that phones home to describe what you are doing.

Website hosting

This site is served through Cloudflare, which keeps standard server records the way essentially every website does. That is Cloudflare’s own processing, and it is subject to their privacy policy.

We do not access those records, analyse them, or use them for any purpose.

Security protections

Solara includes protections against malicious scripts and against attempts to abuse or exploit the software. If those protections are triggered, we may receive a small amount of information so we can understand what happened and fix it.

In that situation, and only in that situation, this may include:

That is the complete list. Nothing else is collected, and none of it is collected unless the protections actually trigger.

To be clear: using Solara normally will never trigger this. These protections exist for malicious scripts and deliberate attempts to abuse the software. Ordinary use does not come close to them, so for almost everyone the answer to “what do you collect?” stays nothing at all.

We use this only to investigate the issue, patch the underlying problem, and block harmful content where necessary. We do not sell it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers.

Children

Solara is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use Solara after that means you accept the updated version.
