Terms of Service
Last updated 19 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and CMD Softworks (“we”, “us”), a company organised in the State of New Mexico, United States. They cover Solara, this website, and anything else we distribute under the Solara name (the “Software”).
By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. Who may use Solara
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you must not be barred from using the Software under any applicable law. If you are under 18, you may only use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Software for your own use. That licence does not transfer ownership of anything. We keep all rights we do not expressly grant here.
4. Redistribution and reskins
Our libraries, binaries, and DLLs are not authorised for public distribution in any form, including inside another product.
- Private modification is fine. Reskin it, rebuild it, tinker with it on your own machine as much as you like.
- Publishing it is not. You may not release, sell, bundle, mirror, or otherwise distribute a reskinned or modified build, or any product that ships our DLL or other components.
You also may not reupload the Software or any Solara-related file, or use our name, logos, branding, screenshots, or other assets to represent something we did not make.
Where we consider a use to fall outside fair use, to misrepresent us, or to be otherwise inappropriate, we will pursue removal without prior notice, including takedown requests to hosts, platforms, and registrars.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Software to harm, harass, defraud, or steal from anyone
- Distribute malware or malicious scripts through it, or to its users
- Attack, overload, or attempt to breach our services or infrastructure
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with the Software’s security protections
- Represent the Software, or a modified version of it, as your own work
6. Security and data
The Software includes protections against malicious scripts and against attempts to abuse or exploit it. If those protections are triggered, a limited amount of information may be collected so we can investigate and patch the problem. What that covers is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Software you consent to that collection and processing, and you waive any claim, demand, or complaint arising from it, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may also block or restrict content sourced from third-party script libraries where we judge it necessary.
7. Third-party services
The Software can surface content from third-party script libraries, and our downloads are served through third-party link partners. We do not control those services, their content, or their advertising, and we are not responsible for them. Their terms apply to your use of them.
8. Roblox
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Use of the Software may violate Roblox’s Terms of Use and could result in your Roblox account being moderated or terminated. That risk is yours alone.
9. Suspension and revocation
We may suspend, restrict, or permanently revoke your access to the Software at any time, for any reason or for no reason, with or without notice. We may also discontinue the Software entirely. You are not entitled to any refund, compensation, or continued access.
10. No warranty
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with any given system.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, hardware, or accounts, arising from or related to the Software.
Because the Software is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to US $0.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Software or your breach of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in New Mexico have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the Software, and you consent to venue there.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the Software after that means you accept the updated terms.
15. Severability
If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that provision is limited only as far as necessary.
16. Official domains
Solara is distributed only from getsolara.dev and its official mirrors: solara.gg, getsolara.gg, and getsolara.net. Any other site offering Solara is not authorised by us, and we take no responsibility for what it distributes (with the sole exception of WRD).
